Trunk Tournament for Trunk v0.35 Week 5 : Maurice the Thief
A sly, conniving thief. A self-proclaimed legend, he was one of the most skilled and crafty of the thieves and rogues lured by the Orb. The magical parasitic vines that have claimed his body still wish to continue his life's work, with a back-up plan of both a vicious magic-drinking maw and potent wands.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.
- Small mistakes will likely NOT be forgiven unless they are minute. (If you are unsure please ask ASAP if you are forgiven in our CC Discord linked above.)

Exception to standard rules: Choose a god before entering the Depths.
The changes we're testing this week: A brand new background with new talismans, and Spell-less stabbing, which this BG is designed to empower.

Cosplay conduct points
- 1. Shifty
Stay in either Gecko or Mist Forms until XL16 when you can do as you wish.
- 2. Spell-less Stabber
Don't cast any spells
- 3. Stabber's Delight
Get at least 9 types of Stabs (check your morgue file for individually named stab types). This is a puzzle, find the solution!
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.)
Bonus challenges
- 1. Loot the Pyramid
Complete a ziggurat.
- 2. It's gonna be fine...
Get the abyssal rune from abyss:7 and win the game.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments.
Milestones
- Reach XL3.
- Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
- Reach the bottom of Dungeon, Lair, or Orc.
- Collect your first rune.
- Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
- Collect your third rune.
- Win the game.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
