CCFT #2 Week 1 : Goji, Who Cannot Be Seen (DCSS challenge)
A particularly intrepid goblin rider who managed to snag a ghost moth as a mount, firmly believing that invisibility is transitive.
Even shrike cannot dodge what it cannot see!

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.
- Small mistakes will likely NOT be forgiven unless they are minute. (If you are unsure please ask ASAP if you are forgiven in our CC Discord linked above.)
Special Rule or Notes
This challenge is to be played on the DCSS Trunk build (aka Git) on any of the Webtiles servers.
Feel free to submit as many morgues as you'd like; the best 2 will be kept in the website's database.
Cosplay conduct points
- 1. Weapons
Only train Fighting and Polearms for weapon skills. (This also means no ranged or throwing training. You do not need to be a melee character or meet specific skill levels for this conduct)
- 2. Armour
Wear an item with 'Harm' before entering Zot. Once you put on a Harm item, you must always have one on to receive the points. It can be melded until Zot, but must be used and unmelded once Zot is entered. (If no Harm items were found by the time you have 5 runes, winning the game will still award points for this conduct.)
- 3. Skills
Always have Stealth as your highest skill when any skill is higher than 8
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.)
Bonus challenges
- 1. My Pet Ghost Moth
Charm a Ghost Moth and get it to attack or use Antimagic Gaze against an enemy. Take a screenshot and post it in the CC Discord channel "cc-forks-tournament". (You may want to aim for 15 Evo and use additional tools for this challenge)
- 2. They Never Saw it Coming
Grab the abyssal rune while your sight radius is 0. Take a screenshot and post it in the CC Discord channel "cc-forks-tournament"... and win the game.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments.
Milestones
- Reach XL3.
- Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
- Reach the bottom of Dungeon, Lair, or Orc.
- Collect your first rune.
- Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
- Collect your third rune.
- Win the game.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
